Well, Buckeye Nation has another reason to celebrate today! Five-star corner-back Na’eem Offord has committed to Ohio State, giving the Buckeyes another huge recruiting win.

This kid is an absolute stud – the 9th ranked player overall in the 2025 class according to ESPN. At 6’2″ with track star speed, Offord has all the tools to develop into a lock-down corner at the next level. He chose the Buckeyes over Alabama, Colorado, and a bunch of other big time programs who were drooling over his talents.

But Offord saw something special happening in Columbus under coach Tim Walton. This marks the eighth commitment for Ohio State’s 2025 class, and the second five-star corner, joining fellow stud Devin Sanchez. That’s right – the top TWO cornerbacks in the country for 2025 will be Buckeyes!

After their Spring Game this past weekend, Ohio State received a commitment from 4 star recruit Dijon Johnson. Johnson is a 2023 corner back from Wharton Tampa Florida. He is considered the 29th best back in the country and had offers from USC, Georgia, Alabama, and Oklahoma, in addition to many others.

At 6’1″ 170 lbs. Johnson is the first corner back for Ohio State in 2023. He is the 5th Florida prospect to join the team. He stated after his commitment that Ohio State always led for him. It was his dream school growing up and he loves everything about the school and the football program.

Dijon Johnson Visits

Johnson does have two summer visits scheduled including one to Oklahoma and one to USC. He made unofficial visits to Ohio State on April 16th and Oklahoma on March 3rd. Many feel Johnson is a shut-down corner that will make teams avoid an entire side of the field when passing. Last season he had 6 interceptions and returned 4 of them for touchdowns.
