OSU Schedule

The schedule of games will begin with the first week on September 3, when the Ohio State Buckeyes will face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, continuing on September 10 against the Arkansas State Red Wolves also at home, on September 17 they will host the Toledo Rockets, and finish the month hosting the Wisconsin Badgers on the 24th.

To start October, they will host Rutgers Scarlet Knights on the 1st, which will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ohio Stadium.

On the 8th they will visit Spartan Stadium in East Lansing to face the Michigan State Spartans, on the 22nd they will return to Ohio Stadium to host the Iowa Haweyes, and they will finish October traveling to Pennsylvania to visit Penn State Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium.

Ohio State got the tight-end they greatly needed for 2023 when in the middle of August Ty Lockwood from Independence High School in Thompson’s Station TN gave a verbal commitment to the program. The four star recruit made the announcement shortly before starting his junior season.

Lockwood, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end/wide receiver, is rated as the No. 3 overall prospect in the state of Tennessee for the class of 2023 and the No. 8 tight end nationally. Playing for Independence High School in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, Lockwood registered 43 receptions for 606 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore a year ago.

Bennett Christian, a 6-foot-6, 235 pounds, a top-rated tight end for the prior cycle is committed to Ohio State but they were looking for two at the position for the class. He picked up an offer from the Buckeyes during his official visit for one of their satellite camps back in June 2017. Outside Linebacker Raesjon Davis Visits Columbus Ohio

Top linebacker recruit Raesjon Davis visited Ohio State this past weekend to take a look at the campus and facilities, although the family was not allowed to meet with the coaching staff. The staff has been very active trying to lure Davis to Columbus for 2021 in a class that ranked 2nd in the country (behind Alabama) but only contains one linebacker, Reid Carrico. Davis is considered a 4 star recruit, the 4th best outside linebacker nationally, and the 4th best overall recruit from California.
