On January 4th, 2022, Carson Hinzman committed to Ohio State and signed a Letter of Intent on February 2nd. The change in lineman coach Greg Studrawa to Justin Frye had little effect on him. Hammond Wisconsin St Croix Central was his high school. He received 23 offers in total, with Iowa, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, and Ohio State among his top choices.

Trayanum went to Akron Hoban High School in Ohio, a 4 star recruit in 2020, the 25th best running back, and 5th best overall player in Ohio. He was a 3 star player in the transfer portal. Always considered a linebacker by the Buckeyes, he returns home to play a familiar position he played in high school.

Lockwood, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end/wide receiver, is rated as the No. 3 overall prospect in the state of Tennessee for the class of 2023 and the No. 8 tight end nationally. Playing for Independence High School in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, Lockwood registered 43 receptions for 606 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore a year ago.
