Has excellent length that translates well into the tackle position. Walker added 40 pounds of muscle over the past 6 months with a lot of work in the weight room. Lots of potential for Walker when he gets to Columbus.
Enters the Transfer Portal
In a bit of a surprise, Ohio State 2022 recruiting class member Miles Walker has entered the transfer portal. The talented offensive lineman, out of Greenwich, Connecticut, was a highly-touted three-star recruit to the Buckeyes. Ohio State boasts one of the deepest and most skilled offensive lines in the country, though, and Walker simply found himself buried on the depth chart.
The 6-foot-6, 285-pound Walker is a hot commodity with a high upside despite his limited playing time, and he said he wants to find a place where he’ll be able to compete for a first-team spot and be more integral to the team’s operation. That reflects great credit on how cutthroat competing times are within one of the leading college football programs.
