My thoughts on week 12 games in the NFL.

NOTE: On NNR Samantha Bunten of NBC Sports and I discussed the news of the day, injuries from the previous week, and previewed all of this week’s games.

CH GB-8.5 CH HC Fox has a lot of work to do to turn this team around. Cutler & O line will not be back.

4-6 7-3 D is for Disaster. That is what this D has been.

GB Rodgers has not been good & WRS don’t get separation. This team needs more weapons.

Run game needs to get back to 140y/g level. Lacy can do that when he is motivated.

D has been very inconsistent. Pass rush was better last week. That is the key.

OK-1,5 TN OK Carr struggled against the rush last week. Not a problem because TN does not have one.

4-6 2-8 Run game has to support the pass. That is not only on Murray but the O line as well.

D is getting better but HC Del Rio needs more play makers.

TN Mar iota has struggled as most rookies do but he has not had a lot of help.

The D is top 6 in yards but 18th in points per game (23.3).

Thoughts on the 1st half of the NFL season.

NOTE: On NNR Samantha Bunten of NBC Sports and I discussed the news of the day, injuries from week 9, and previewed all week 10 games including the Browns/Steelers.

AFC East

Patriots – No question Tom Brady is playing at a very high level. The question is will issues in the D backfield cost them a Super Bowl?

Bills – New coaching staff, solid D but the same old problem—No QB.

Jets – No question the D is one of the very best. They have the same issue as the Bills.

Dolphins – The team quit on their former coach and this team is headed for a total rework.

AFC North

Bengals – QB Andy Dalton has played very well but can they win a playoff game? No.

Steelers – Injuries have decimated this team but the D backfield has never been worse.

Ravens – The only thing that will save HC Harbaugh’s job is the super bowl win.

Browns – It is time to blow up the organization again. The sooner they fire GM Ray Farmer the better the 2016 draft will be.

AFC South

Colts – If things weren’t bad enough Andrew Luck is hurt. The D is … Read more at FryingPanSports

Brady & the NFLPA need to shut up!

X NFLPA

NOTE: Today on NNR Samantha Bunten of NBC Sports and I broke down the Browns depth chart and projected starters.

Those of you that read FPS regularly know I have no love for either the League and Roger Goodell or the NFLPA. But really the NFLPA has to shut up about wanting an independent hearing officer for appeals of penalties.

The NFLPA wanted every cent possible for the current players in the last negotiations for the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

They sold out the retired players. They took every dime they could for the active players and totally ignored the needs of the retired players. If I was a former NFL player I would sue the NFLPA for lack of representation and support. The NFLPA claims to represent the retired players but all they do is throw the old folks under the bus. The sad part is that the retired players built the league so that the current players can make the money they enjoy. It reminds me of Joan of Arc. She led the french to a victory in the 100 years war against England. The French thanked her by burning her at the stake.
