Ernie Els Golf Swing Challenge

Perfect Golf Swing

Anyone having a little bit golfing expertise cannot forget who Ernie El is. The popularity of this famous golf star rose to a new height when he won the British Open Tournament. This victory of Ernie was not a common one. In this British Open Tournament, which is thought to be one of the most prestigious tournaments in a golf year, Ernie presented an outstanding performance.

Ernie is one of the South African golf players and is also known as “The Big Easy”. The reason behind this nick name of his is that he is 6ft and 3 inches tall in stature, and has such a stance which is perfect for golf swing. Ernie is one of those players who has remained number one for a long time and have won sixty-five victories. Four of these victories are major championships which makes his profile particularly impressive.

In 2010, keeping his outstanding achievements in mind, he was elected the World Golf hall of famer. This is truly a great honor for any golfer to achieve such a position in a short span of time.

Theodore Ernest El was born in October 17, 1969 and has a weight of … Read more at FryingPanSports

ESPN Launches Food Scorecards

Some horrible and obnoxious things were found when the health department’s inspection reports were reviewed by ESPN. These reports were of arenas and stadiums in North America where some major sporting events were held. As per these reports, around 30% of all the venues which were host to leagues in 2009 had more than 50% of their food and beverage vendors receiving certification that they had violated the standards that were set for handling food (though the drink holders seemed somewhat sanitary). All the violations as reported were critical and very major. The violations mainly were storing the food and then serving at an inadequate temperature which will stimulate the growth of pathogens. The food was served at improper temperature as there were no proper equipments, the staff members did not follow hygienic practices as they did not wash hands after using restrooms and touching their faces, the cooking place was infested with insects and rodents which could easily contaminate the food and usage of same equipment for doing different things.

The report of the department brought to the notice major violations of standards and most of these can prove to be extremely dangerous. Though the reviews and the findings … Read more at FryingPanSports

Cricket Overload with Cricinfo.

From a very early age I have been fascinated with the game of cricket, I was introduced to the game by my dad he used to play for a couple of local teams. One of these teams was our local amateur side and the other was an indoor cricket team he played with his workmates, by attending both these games to watch my dad it greatly developed my understanding of the game. As soon as I was able to play for I local team myself I jumped at the opportunity, and as I’ve got older I have developed further my understanding of the rules of the game as well as the gamesmanship part of cricket which is such an important factor.

I am now in a position where I am still a great fan of cricket and very fortunate that I get the opportunity to go and watch many live cricket games that Edgbaston cricket ground which is only half an hours drive from where I live. But when I am not able to go and physically watch live cricket thanks to the development of new technology both in mobile phones and on the Internet I’m now able to … Read more at FryingPanSports
