Patrick Mahomes is looking forward to NFL Combine, and is aching to play for the Browns and Hue Jackson. He is the quarterback for Texas Tech and wants to show that he is just as strong as Deshaun Watson and Mitch Trubisky to coach Hue Jackson. During Super Bowl week, Mahomes told cleveland.com said that he wants to be one of the first picks in the draft and really has his heart set on the Browns because they seem to be going in the right direction.

Mahomes is actually noted as the third or fourth best quarterback in the upcoming draft. Other top quarterbacks include DeShone Kizer and Trubisky Watson. Mahomes is looking forward to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis next week so that he can show his stuff. The Browns do have top pick, which Mahomes hope to be, and the twelfth position. Patrick Mahomes is named after his father who was a Major League pitcher. He hopes that his tenacity and work ethic will give him the edge.

Lance Zierlein commented on Mahomes’ NFL.com profile that Mahomes, who is 6 feet three inches and 215 pounds, has the ideal NFL body to work both inside and outside of the pocket. Zierlein also added that Mahomes’ accuracy has been improving since his freshman season, and he challenges defenders with confidence and increases velocity to make his passes move. Sources have told cleveland.com that two teams are considering makes trades to get Mahomes who had a strong 2016 record with 41 touchdowns, 5,052 yards, 10 interceptions and completed 66 percent of all passes.
