I am an admitted Phil Dawson fan. For 14 years he labored for the Cleveland Browns never having an opportunity for a playoff game winning kick. He kicked in one of the most difficult stadiums in the league and yet is at or near the top in efficiency and accuracy. He joined the Browns in the come back year of 1999 and has participated in only one playoff game. He served a 14 year sentence with complaining or becoming a distraction.

He signed with the 49ers as a free agent this season and has not only gotten to the playoffs but won the first game with his leg. As most of the regular readers know, I have been an early supporter of both 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick and Seahawk QB Russel Wilson. However because of Dawson, I will be rooting for the Niners Sunday. If a player ever deserved to get into a Super Bowl, it is Phil Dawson.

That is what I think. Tell us what you think.
